Geoff has worked extensively as a performer and teacher for over twenty years. He is a seasoned improvisor, having performed on stage with Wayne Brady, Mike McShane, Brad Sherwood, and Fred Willard, among others. He has also taught improvisation at Acme Comedy Theatre, Los Angeles Theatresports, and Freestyle Repertory Theatre. And that experience led him to become a trainer and facilitator in the corporate world. He has helped clients such as Barclays Capital, Eli Lilly, Charles Schwab, AAA and Western Union.

Geoff worked as a professional television writer in Hollywood for several years, on shows such as Suddenly Susan and That’s So Raven. This taught him a great deal about storytelling, creativity, humor and managing the sometimes-crazy personalities that exist in the entertainment industry. Working in a business that is so money-driven yet filled with personal dynamics has proved very useful to Geoff as a trainer in the corporate world. In addition to years of improv and sketch comedy credits, Geoff is also an actor, having performed regionally and at NYC’s Ensemble Studio Theatre. On screen, he has performed on America’s Funniest People and in a short film for Saturday Night Live. Geoff has taught Television Writing at Northwestern University, and currently teaching writing at Marist College.
